Reuben was encouraged to play football at a young age by his uncle, Ezekiel Bala, who is also a professional footballer. He spent his early career in his home city, Jos, before joining us from Plateau United in 2019.

He enjoyed a fruitful first season, scoring three goals in the Championships playoffs to help us lift the Nigeria Professional Football League trophy.

He has also been capped by Nigeria at senior level.
