OKERE CONFIDENT ENYIMBA WILL BOUNCE BACK AGAINST WARRI WOLVES

Daniel Okere says he is very confident Enyimba will grab maximum points against Warri Wolves on Sunday in a Matchday 29 Nigeria Premier Football League clash.

The People’s Elephant face the Seasiders in Ozoro, hoping to improve their position on the log with a good result.

The 2-time African champions have shockingly fallen to 15th on the table following a string of poor results, and are now just one point above the dreaded relegation zone.

Last Sunday, Enyimba recorded a disappointing 1-1 draw against visitors Kun Khalifat in Aba, and have won just one of their last 9 matches.

Speaking to Enyimbafc.net ahead of the encounter against Warri Wolves, the former Abia Comets star stated that the players are well-prepared and poised to go for broke against Wolves, while urging the fans to keep supporting the team.

“We are here in Ozoro to face Warri Wolves on Sunday,” he noted. “Everybody is ready; the players are fully psyched. We are physically and mentally ready.

“Unfortunately, last Sunday we couldn’t get the maximum three points against Kun Khalifat in Aba. But we know that come tomorrow (Sunday), we are going to get it here in Ozoro, Delta State.

“We ask for your support. We ask for patience from the supporters.

“This is Enyimba – the biggest club in Nigeria and West Africa in general. We’ll get it right. Up Enyimba!”
