Yarou called up for Squirrels’ World Cup qualifiers

Nabil Yarou has been called up by Benin Republic for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification fixtures against Madagascar and Congo in September.

Benin will face Madagascar in Antananarivo on September 2 before hosting Congo in Cotonou four days later; and the West African nation has kept faith with Yarou who also featured in the team’s AFCON 2021 qualifiers.

Yarou, who made his international debut in 2017, has already won twelve caps with The Squirrels and was a mainstay for Enyimba last season, scoring two goals from his centre back position.
