Guera ends four years stay at Enyimba
Beninese midfielder Jean-Marie Guera has left Enyimba Football Club after the midfielder’s contract was terminated on mutual consent.
The midfielder joined Enyimba from Energie FC in 2018 following a stellar outing with the Beninese side in the CAF Confederation Cup that year, but his term at Enyimba was bedeviled by an incessant knee injury that limited him to only a handful of appearances.
Despite still having two years left on his contract with Enyimba, Guera, who managed three appearances in the 2021/22 season, has now left the club after a four years stint.
Guera joins a list of players who have left the club following the expiration of their contracts. Some of the key departures are:
Austin Oladapo, Victor Mbaoma, Cyril Olisema, Gabriel Orok, Emmanuel Ampiah, Daniel Darkwah, Nabil Yarou and Farouk Mohammed.
