Eriugo set for first professional contract

Young forward, Adiele Eriugo will be offered a professional contract after impressing in his debut season in the top flight.

Eriugo, a product of the Enyimba youth system, was registered as a youth player in the just concluded season following eye-catching displays for the B team.

The youngster made his senior debut in the 1-1 draw against Bendel Insurance in March and became a constant feature in Finidi George team afterwards, going on to score the first goal of the NPFL Championship Playoff as Enyimba proceeded to clinch their ninth league crown.

The gangling forward is now queued to be rewarded for his fine performances, with a professional contract set to be signed in the coming days.
