Finidi George has reacted to the draws that placed Enyimba against Al Ahli Benghazi in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
In an interview with Enyimbafc.net, the head coach expressed confidence in his team’s chances but also sounded wary of the quality of the opponents.
“They are a team with a lot of experience in this CAF Championship, a very difficult side and they’ve played against Enyimba twice in the past.
“Looking at the draws, we should be able to handle it. If we prepare very well, we will not have a problem to go through. But they are an experienced side who know how to play this tournament. They also have a very lively home crowd, so we have to be prepared.
“We are looking forward to it because it is a big task for us, but we must psyche the players and motivate them, and get them physically ready for that battle.
“I hope we get a good result in the first leg because that will put us in a good place.”
