Interview: Osho’s words ahead of Rivers United Clash

Ahead of Sunday’s Confederation Cup playoff second leg against Rivers United, Fatai Osho sat face to face with the Enyimba media team to answer key questions surrounding the buildup.

The People’s Elephant take a 1-0 first leg advantage into the fixture scheduled for 4pm at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.

Asked if carrying a first leg advantage will give Enyimba the edge in Port Harcourt

“It is not going to be an easy task, we’re quite aware of that. Looking at the quality of our opponents and looking at what happened in the first leg, none of the team’s will be so sure of getting the ticket because the two teams looked equally matched.

“We have to be honest with ourselves, coming in here, it won’t be an easy task but we want to be optimistic that we’ll scale this hurdle.”

Asked if he thinks there might be a special strategy to tame Enyimba’s star player, Anayo Iwuala

“That is quite possible looking at what he has been doing of late. He has been a handful for many clubs we’ve played of recent and any team will be looking at that direction of trying to tame him. That is something that is expected and we have been talking to him on that.

“He knows there could be attention drafted on him. He is a good player and he is doing very well right now and what he is experiencing is what all top class players do experience.”

On how much is a miss Tosin Omoyele’s absence through suspension is…

“It’s a big one. He is a player that is in the best shape of his life. We would have loved him to be here playing along with us but unfortunately the red card. It’s a big miss and it’s quite unfortunate.”

Great work from the media team.
The audio recording will be better as one rather than splitting it.
Video clip also move viewers like match highlights which I believe with great relationship with NPFL TV that can be possible.

    Thanks
