After captain Austin Oladapo’s long absence from action, the wait was finally over as he came in to replace Fatai Abdullahi in the 74th minute against Shooting Stars on Sunday.

The rapturous welcome as he stepped on to the pitch was an emotional and electrifying moment inside the Enyimba Stadium. Within seconds of his entry, Oladapo hit a freekick on target. He also had a vital touch in the build up to Godwin Emmanuel’s late match winner.
