“This win will lift the spirits of the players”

Fatai Osho believes that the win against Kwara United can set his team in the right spirit after enduring a rough patch recently.

The result against Kwara was Enyimba’s first win in four matches after The People’s Elephant had managed only draws in their last three outings.

Expectedly, Fatai Osho was nothing short of praises for the efforts put in by his players to get the result.

Fatai Osho’s interview after win against Kwara United

“Not for want of effort that we’ve not won in the last two matches; we’ve not been lucky, I would say that. But a lot of hard work went into this. The Kwara team are also a decent team that is well blended, good cohesion on their part. We had to look at what we could do to hurt them and we knew a quick transition, using the wide players and we were able to get what we wanted. That’s really good enough for us.

“A good one for the boys, a big relief and I think we can pick it from here. This is when we’ll wake up the inner strength in us. It’s becoming more like a psychological problem when you play so well and you don’t pick the maximum points, it becomes worrisome but then this win will actually lift the spirits of these players.”
