We Are Poised For a Positive Result – Olorunleke Ojo
Olorunleke Ojo says the spirit in the Enyimba camp is very high and remains ‘positive’ the People’s Elephant will get a good result against his former club Sunshine Stars on Sunday.
The two-time African champions Enyimba, who suffered an agonizing late defeat to Nasarawa United in Lafia on Wednesday, battle the Owena Whales at the Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu-Ode in a week 11 NPFL clash on Sunday.
In an interview with www.enyimbafc.net, the shot stopper, who had two different stints with Sunshine Stars, declared his side’s readiness for the fixture, adding that they won’t ‘underrate’ the Akure-based outfit.
“Sunshine Stars is a team that I have played for before and I think I know a lot about them,” the 26-year-old Enyimba safe hands said. “But games are always different. You can’t compare one game with the other. But we just have to approach it (the match against Sunshine Star) with all seriousness.
“We’ll respect them, but we won’t be scared of them. And I know that we mustn’t underrate them.
“We are going to give our all. We are going to come out smoking. Every one of us is ready. Everybody is ready. The atmosphere is very good for us now.
“I’m very, very positive that we will get something from this match with all things being done right. And I know that with the mood of the guys now, the result will be positive.”
