Coach Yema to take charge against Gombe United

Yemi ‘Yema’ Olanrewaju will lead the team out of the dugout when Enyimba face Gombe in their first game of the NPFL season on Sunday.

Yema will be filling in for head coach Finidi George who will miss the encounter due to national team duties.

Nigeria are scheduled to face Saudi Arabia and Mozambique in two friendly matches in Portugal, and Finidi, who is an assistant to head coach Jose Pesseiro, will be in the Bavarian country for the encounters.

Yema is also expected to take charge of home fixture against Akwa United in midweek.
