Team news: travelling squad for Gombe United clash

Enyimba FC have arrived Gombe for the Nigeria Premier Football League fixture against Gombe United.

The fixture in Gombe will be Enyimba’s curtain raiser for the 2023/24 season as the People’s Elephant were not in action last weekend following the postponement of the week 1 fixture against Bendel Insurance.

Six of the club’s new signings – Daniel Daga, Anthony Okachi, Innocent Gabriel, George Owen, Chibueze Izuogu, Joseph Atule and Chidiebere Nnachi – will be in line to make the NPFL debut for Enyimba having been included in the traveling squad.

The 20-man travelling squad also includes goalkeeper Henry Ani, Ikenna Cooper, forwards Chisom Okereke and Eriugo Adiele
