Murphy Ndukwu says Enyimba are well-prepared for the President Federation Cup Round of 32 clash against FC One Rocket, even as he expects a ‘big win’ against the Nigeria National League (NNL) side.

Four-time champions Enyimba face One Rocket at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa on Wednesday, with victory ensuring passage to the Round of 16 of the oldest football competition in the country.

Speaking ahead of the encounter, the former Heartland FC player added that the People’s Elephant have the quality to overcome their opponents.

“We are Enyimba – the big Elephants,” the winger remarked. “From what they tell us, in Enyimba no game is small. And no game is expected to be anything short of a win for us.

“So, we are expecting a big win because we are a big club, even though we have respect for One Rocket.

“It’s not going to be easy, but with the quality of players we have and the kind of training we’ve had, we believe we’ll win big. We will win well.

“I’m expecting a big win from us because we can do it.”

The last time Enyimba visited the Samson Siaisia stadium, Ndukwu dazzled as the 2-time African champions overcame hosts Bayelsa United 2-1 in a Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) fixture.
