Onyekachi Okonkwo speaks on Enyimba’s title chances

Onyekachi Okonkwo has tipped his former team, Enyimba to triumph at the NPFL Championship Playoff ongoing in Lagos.

Okonkwo is a member of Enyimba’s legendary CAF Champions League winning team of 2003 and 2004, and has been in Lagos to watch Nigeria’s top six teams battle it out at the Playoff. 

Speaking after watching one of Enyimba’s games, the midfielder who moved on to play for Orlando Pirates and FC Zurich said:

“I am very impressed with the way the team plays. They move the ball very well and they are very tactical. I like this particular squad because there are lots of young players with some experienced ones as well. Sometimes they play with a little anxiety, but generally, the team looks very good and I think they will win the cup.”
