Tijani Babangida to team up with Enyimba for Naija Super 8 

Ex-international Tijani Babangida has been assigned to Enyimba for the Naija Super 8 in Lagos, where he will act as ‘team mentor’.

The 1996 Olympics Gold Medalist’s role will be to act as the face of the team at the tournament.

Babangida is one of six distinguished ex-players that have been selected by tournament organisers, Flykite Productions, to add glamour to the competition with kicks off at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Friday, July 7.

Other ex-internationals who have been selected for the role and assigned to the other clubs are Victor Ikpeba, Ike Shorunmu, Garba Lawal, Mutiu Adepoju, Jonathan Akpoborie, Julius Aghahowa and Victor Ezeji.
